Job profile

Business Development Executive/Manager will be responsible for generating and closing new business leads, focused on Data Engineering & Data Science consulting, solution & software sales

  • Develop new business prospects via marketing calls, client visits, company presentations and networking at client-related events and establish new relationships with clients and key stake holders for accounts
  • Identify specific prospects/partners to approach while communicating the specific value proposition for their business and use case
  • Execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. account teams, channel teams, service teams, support, etc.).
  • Responsible for ensuring penetration of new accounts by delivering the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Meet and strive to exceed all quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Ability to compose & present excellent polished presentations to customers with excellent delivery & grasp of materials.
  • Able to represent company in F2F meetings with excellent communication skills to open up new business & grow existing business.
  • Strong strategic business development focus & proven conversion of lead generation to major revenue streams.
  • Established Sales Track record and previous B2B Marketing experience
  • Strong closing and planning abilities
  • Proven ability to achieve targets under pressure
  • Experienced with account management (Enterprise, SMB and start-up) and solution selling ability
  • Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of our service offerings
  • Some relevant technical experience/knowledge is helpful, such as: data analytics, artificial intelligence, data engineering, database systems, etc. with ability to go deep enough on technical aspects related to various Data engineering & Artificial Intelligence technologies

Mandatory Qualification

  • At least 1-3 years of sales experience, ideally in a technology consulting business
  • Experience selling to B2B clients
  • Experience with computing and or related fields (IT, software, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in selling Services/Technology into the Big Data / Analytics /Data Engineering space
  • Experience selling to Enterprise customers
  • Experience working with the Big Data & Analytics ecosystem
  • MBA or equivalent relevant business experience
