In our early discussions, the client highlighted four key operational bottlenecks that were stalling their RCM efficiency:
Authorizations and claims were handled manually, leading to revenue leakage, delays, and increased denials.
Billing, clinical, and patient data were scattered across EHR, EMR, and PMS systems, making it difficult to get a unified view of operations.
Lack of real-time visibility and automation created workflow lags, reduced productivity, and impacted the patient experience.
Evolving payer and regulatory requirements made manual tracking difficult, increasing the risk of non-compliance and errors.
Our developers and BI engineers built a secure and scalable platform using Azure and Microsoft 365 to bring all revenue cycle data into one place. Here’s what we delivered:
We brought together data from EHRs, PMSs, EMRs, and RCM tools using Azure Data Factory. This helped us route everything into a centralized architecture powered by Azure Synapse and Data Lake, making data access smoother and faster.
Using SharePoint Online, our team created a monthly “Reporting Hub” where structured lists were built for templates, submissions, and tracking. Each department had secure and personalized access based on roles.
Our engineers set up Power Automate to take care of template sharing, approval flows, and regular reminders. This reduced the need for manual follow-ups and helped everyone stay on track.
We built role-based dashboards that connected directly to SharePoint. These showed real-time views of revenue trends, forecasts, and customer-level data, with row-level security built in for safe and specific access.
We applied role-based permissions, enabled encrypted data storage, and maintained full version history and audit trails to meet strict compliance standards and protect sensitive information.
To make sure users could easily adopt the new system, we provided Figma-based UI guides, ran live onboarding sessions, and rolled out the solution gradually based on real user feedback.

Enterprise-grade access and compliance.
User Training & Adoption Enablement
Smooth onboarding and training for all users.
Pilot launch followed by phased rollout for controlled adoption.
Automated data collection and Power BI dashboards helped reduce monthly reporting cycles from 2–3 days down to just a few hours, cutting overall turnaround time by nearly 65%.
With auto-reminders and real-time tracking flows in place, more than 25 departments submitted data consistently, improving completeness and accuracy across the board.
Automating the approval process and follow-ups with Power Automate helped reduce manual effort by nearly 50%, saving several hours each week for operations teams.
Role-specific Power BI dashboards now offer real-time views into revenue trends, forecast accuracy, and customer metrics, giving leadership teams instant access to what matters most.
By combining Azure-based data engineering, automated workflows, and Power BI dashboards, our team helped the client turn their revenue cycle operations into a real-time, insight-driven system. The result? Faster reporting, improved compliance, better reimbursement, and a scalable setup that still drives smarter decisions across their entire hospital network.
